Grinding
|
Cutting To maintain a clean cut, the torch head must travel at a constant speed, distance and angle to the metal. I draw down muscle tension, and listen to the sound and progression of the rapidly oxidizing metal. |
Welding
Welding in three dimensions, I use magnets, clamps and made fixtures to keep the pieces in place. The image, now defined in metal, becomes anchored and bound to its structure by the weld. The weld is permanence. |
